The nose is elegant, gourmand and well-built. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry and more slightly violet associated with fine touches of graphite, toasted/caramelized, Bourbon vanilla bud as well as discreet hints of chocolate and a very discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is mineral, fruity, well-balanced, well-built and offers a good definition, a mineral frame as well as a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, juicy/fresh red berries and more slightly juicy/fresh raspberry associated with small touches of flowers, racy minerality as well as discreet hints of toasted and almond.
