The nose is elegant and racy. It reveals notes of graphene, crushed blueberry, fairly ripe blackcurrant and small notes of morello cherry associated with hints of cornflower, crushed small blue fruits, Bourbon vanilla, Madagascar pepper, spices, graphene, cocoa, sense of place (local biotope) as well as a subtle hint of coffee and almost cumin. The palate is beautifully managed, fruity, juicy, elegant, racy, supple and precise, harmonious. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, pulpy blackcurrant and small notes of cornflower associated with touches of crushed blue plum, a hint of crushed raspberry as well as hints of almond, toast, cardamom and a hint of cocoa, salinity. A lovely mirror of its limestone terroir and marked by the local biotope. A subtle, almost sappy hint. Nicely graphite/marked limestone and a hint of lovely austerity/elegant darkness.
