Nice, aromatic, spicy nose which offers a discreet almost powdery side, a certain deepness as well as a beautiful racy freshness (terroir). It reveals notes of fresh undergrowth, ripe wild cassis and small notes of violet associated with touches of ripe Boysenberry, camphor as well as fine hints of undergrowth, fresh truffle and an almost fresh pepper hint. The palate offers a very beautiful freshness, a nice juiciness, suppleness, roundness, volume as well as a certain fullness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulp blackberry, quite ripe cassis and small notes of racy minerality associated with touches of plum, camphor, fresh sap, tobacco as well as fine hints of clove and toasted. Tannins are elegant and discreetly powdery.
