Château Bellevue 2010 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity and offers freshness, harmony and a fine intensity. It reveals notes of quite ripe cassis, griotte, small notes of small ripe fruits associated with small touches of small blue fruits, zan, black tea and spices. The palate is fruity, juicy, elegant and offers a beautiful definition, tension, justness of the construction as well as a fine suavity, gourmandize, a beautiful finesse of the grain, an almost aerial side and a certain power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quite ripe cassis, blackberry, small notes of fleshy/juicy raspberry associated with touches of small quite ripe blue fruits, liquorice, tobacco, incense as well as a discreet hint of nutmeg, almond and an imperceptible hint of underwood (in the background). Tannins are well-built and elegant. Appertence on the finish.
