Château Belles-Graves 2020 – Lalande-de-Pomerol 

The nose is fruity and offers juiciness, a small power, a fine concentration as well as gourmandize and harmony. It reveals notes of bright wild blackberry, pulpy raspberry, small notes of small bright fruits associated with touches of violet, lily/cherry flower, cuben pepper, lily as well as fine hints of crushed redcurrant, fine hints of liquorish/star anis and nutmeg. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, a good definition, gourmandize as well as a fine tension, racy minerality, gourmandize, discreetly. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cherry, crushed redcurrant, small notes of bright boysen berries associated with touches of cornflower, lilac, small acidulous/juicy fruits as well as hints of tabaco, toasted, nutmeg and toasted almond. Good length. The tannins are mellow.
