The nose is powerful, aromatic, racy and offers a good definition, concentration and a fine freshness. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe wild raspberry and small notes of ripe raspberry associated with fine touches of violet and very fine hints of liquorice stick, nutmeg and an imperceptible hint of grilled bread, Cuben pepper and very fine hints of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, tension, a mineral frame and precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy ripe cassis, juicy ripe raspberry and small notes of juicy ripe small red berries associated with fine touches of cherry, violet as well as very fine hints of liquorice. Tannins are well-built, fine and very finely chewy. Fine chew on the finish.
