The nose is aromatic and offers a beautiful palette, a beautiful floral cyme, and Mediterranean region/ aromatic herbs. It reveals notes of blackberry, wild pulpy raspberry and small notes of wild cassis associated with touches of Mediterranean region and a slight hint of fresh pepper. The palate is mineral, fresh and offers a beautiful juiciness, purity/ brightness of the fruit, a very beautiful matter and shiny mid-palate. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/bright cherry, juicy/bright cassis and small notes of blackberry, small bright berries, and hints of bright blueberry as well as hints of cornflower, chocolate, flowers and a hint of toasted/crushed almond and a subtle hint of vanilla. Beautiful tannins and suppleness, beautiful little mache of the wine with good length. Brilliant! At the end, there is a hint of licorice and chocolate in the background on persistence.
