The nose is elegant, finely racy and offers power. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, wild cassis and small notes of wild strawberry associated with very fine hints of toasted, camphor, a very discreet hint of vanilla, orange and a subtle hint of pepper, cornflower/iris. The palate is fruity, very discreetly tight and offers an acidulous frame, gourmandize, suavity and freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of violet, fleshy wild strawberry and small notes of raspberry associated with a subtle hint of fleshy/juicy cassis as well as very discreet hints of chocolate. Tannins are well-built. Good length. There are hints of chocolate and toasted almond on the finish/persistence.
