The nose is aromatic, relatively powerful and offers finesse and a certain (small) concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and Quetsche plum associated with a slight touch of cassis bud, tobacco, black fruit jam and a hint of oak. The palate is fruity, fresh and offers tension, minerality as well as a nice silky and slightly unctuous matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, Quetsche plum and slight oaky notes. Tannins are fine and elegant. Good length.
