The nose is fruity, slightly tight, racy and offers a fine fleshiness as well as a very fine concentration. It reveals notes of fleshy cassis, ripe black fruits, liquorice and touches of wild strawberry associated with subtle hints of fresh almond, a discreet hint of spices as well as an imperceptible hint of chocolate. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, a bit tight and offers fleshiness, a fine suavity, a small gourmandize, tension, a small fat, elegance as well as a beautiful grain slightly tight. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and more slightly wild raspberry associated with fine touches of sweet spices, liquorice as well as discreet hints of toasted. Tannins are fine, straight and a bit firm. Good persistence. So gourmand!
