The nose is clear, elegant, precise and spicy and offers a beautiful precise grain, intense and elongated and deep, that would benefit from being decanted. It reveals notes of wild cassis, wild blackberry and small notes of cornflower associated with hints of fairly ripe red plum/raspberry, as well as elegant, almost roasted hints and offers touches of infusion and nutmeg. On the palate, the wine is elegant, fresh, mineral, juicy, supple, airy, delicate, silky and deep, offering a beautiful balance. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, concentrated raspberry and more discreetly, small, juicy/fresh blueberries associated with touches of bigarreau cherry, as well as subtle notes of infusion, bergamot and discreet notes of sage, nutmeg and offers a subtle touch of vanilla in the background. A slight chewiness on the finish attests to a nice persistence. Beautiful freshness and harmony, a finish with a touch of tonka bean and a very subtle hint of roasting in the background, leaving a beautifully freshness. Good work on the nice bitterness and the discreet varietal side.
