Château Belair Saint-Georges 2021 – Saint-Georges Saint-Emilion

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers concentration, accuracy and gourmandise. It expresses notes of juicy fruits: morello cherry, wild strawberry, roasted red cherry, blackberry, black plum, as well as a hint of dark chocolate, liquorice and white pepper in the background. There is also a touch of stewed red cherry, black tea, lily and coffee in the background. The palate is juicy and expresses notes of morello cherry, dried red cherry, blackberry, wild strawberry and black plum, associated with notes of dark chocolate, black tea, licorice and white pepper. The finish is persistent and expresses the slightly tight but fine-grained tannins, a salivating acidity, as well as the gourmandise of dark plum with chocolate and a good bitterness. A structured wine, with verticality and sapidity.
