The nose is elegant with a lovely power in the freshness of the grain, intensity, precision and a fine straightness like a straight side coming from the limestone terroir. We have notes of wild blackberries, small bright wild black berries and slight notes of fresh pepper associated with touches of small pulpy blue berries, a hint of crushed redcurrant, spices and fine hints of black tea as well as of chocolate. The palate is fruity with freshness and minerality. It has good definition, accuracy and a little airy side in its richness and in its material. There is a certain density, controlled richness all in elegance and harmony. It is a very limestone wine with notes of blackberries, small crushed black berries and more slightly black pepper associated with touches of raspberries, small pulpy blue fruits as well as hints of chocolate. We also perceive a hint of tonka bean and toast. There is a nice work on the good bitters, a very nice freshness and minerality with suppleness, density, richness and smoothness.
