The wine shows a medium ruby colour. The nose is dense and concentrated, slightly reductive, with air revealing notes of blackberries, black currant, a lot of spicy nuances, black pepper cardamom, a touch of lily. The palate is tight with mighty, grainy tannins, elevated acidity and well-balanced alcohol. The wine is dark and spicy but already accessible and open. The finish has moderate length and a slight herbaceous note in the echo. Good ageing potential.
