The nose is fruity and offers power, a good finesse of the grain as well as a very fine incisif side. It reveals notes of ripe wild cassis, wild red berries and small notes of gray pepper associated with fine touches of spices and a very discreet varietal hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acid frame, a fine juiciness, tension as well as a fine/veru finely tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe wild cassis, ripe blackberry and small notes of crunchy small wild red berries associated with fine touches of flowers/varietals as well as a hintof gray pepper. Tannins are fine and very finely firm. Good length. A very discreet hint of tonka bean on the finish.
