Château Bel Evêque Rosé 2022 – Corbières

(Cinsault, Syrah, Grenache Gris, Grenache Noir, rosé made by maceration method, aged 2 months in oak barrels) The wine has a salmon pink color, of medium intensity. The nose is aromatic, complex and refined. It expresses notes of ripe and juicy fruits (morelo cherry, bigarreau cherry, vine peach, red apple, a tangy and bitter touch of grapefruit), associated with a savoury spiciness (clove, nutmeg, a hint of vanilla), as well as a touch of cherry blossom. The mouth is full, with a vinous hint and a touch of sweetness on the finish. It expresses the flavors of stone fruits (vine peach, apricot), black fig, red apple, morello cherry and wild strawberry, combined with a floral hint of cherry blossom, the bitterness of grapefruit and a savoury spiciness (nutmeg, clove, vanilla in the background). The finish is persistent, juicy and round, but quite fresh.
