The nose is spicy, complex and would benefit from decanting. It reveals notes of blackberry, fleshy strawberry and small notes of bigarreau cherry, associated with touches of violet, star anise, fine hints of sweet pepper and zan and a discreet hint of infusion. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh, mineral, balanced, with tension, a certain rightness, suppleness and a slight fatness. It expresses notes of fleshy/pulpy cherry, crushed redcurrant and small notes of brilliant cassis, associated with touches of fresh blond tobacco, cola, fresh flowers and a subtle hint of cinnamon in the background. Good length. A fine fleshiness on the finish that adds gourmandise.
