Château Bel-Air 2017 – Pomerol

The nose is fresh, mineral, precise, racy and well-built. It reveals notes of fresh blackberry, fresh wild raspberry and fresh small berries associated with small touches of blue fruits, cornflower as well as subtle hints of caramelization, Sichuan pepper and vanilla. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a fine acid frame, a beautiful precision, gourmandize, volume as well as creaminess. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, cassis and more slightly blue fruits associated withe fine touches of fresh raspberry, cornflower, liquorice as well as subtle touches of chocolate, caramelization and fresh almond. Good length. Fine power in the background/ on the finish.
