The nose is fruity and offers concentration as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of Boysen blackberry, strawberry and small notes of liquorice associated with touches of salinity, small fruits as well as fine mineral or even gravelly hints. The palate is beautifully built, fruity, juicy, suave and offers gourmandise, accuracy, suppleness as well as good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, juicy/pulpy redcurrants and small notes of crunchy strawberry associated with an almost juicy blueberry touch as well as hints of cornflower, star anise, a fine toasted hint of toast and nutmeg. Tannins are sappy and mellow. Good length.
