The nose reveals notes of crushed blackberry, ripe bell pepper, small touches of cassis, spices associated with subtle/discreet hint of gravels (Graves), gray pepper, dark chocolate as well as an imperceptible hint of sweet spices (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, mineral and offers a fine juiciness, a small straightness as well as fullness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, black cherry and more slightly crushed/ripe strawberry associated with small touches of toasted oaky, chocolate as well as a very discreet hint of violet (in the background). Tannins are very slightly dry. Good length.
