Château Beauséjour Héritiers Duffau-Lagarrosse 2018 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity, elegant and offers gourmandize, power/richness, tension, a beautiful definition, a beautiful aromatic as well as a beautiful fruit. It reveals notes of fleshy/juicy Boysen berry, fleshy/juicy cassis and small notes of juicy blueberry associated with touches of juicy strawberry, hints of flowers as well as discreet hints of liquorice, toasted, vanilla and a discreet hint of mild tobacco (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, a fine creaminess, an acidulous frame, a very beautiful freshness, a very beautiful finesse in the concentration as well as an aerial touch. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fleshy blackberry, fleshy/crushed cassis and small notes of fleshy/juicy raspberry associated with fine touches of blueberry, flowers (violet, cornflower and a discreet hint of iris) as well as hints of chocolate, toasted and a hint of caramelization. Beautiful aromatic persistence, gourmande and sapide. There is a hint of almost saline minerality in the finish/persistence.
