(70% Merlot, 30% CF) Lovely fruity nose, elegant, complex, delicately aromatic, precise, deep and which offers a lovely finesse of the grain. We find notes of pulpy boysenberry and pulpy/fleshy strawberry associated with touches of pulpy raspberry, hints of star anise, blue plum, fresh blond tobacco as well as a subtle hint almost cypress and very discreet hints of racy minerality. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity and offers pulpiness, delicacy, a lovely little density, a tangy frame, accuracy, sapidity, purity as well as tension. Softness in the middle of the palate. Accuracy and finesse in its uprightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, blueberry and small notes of roasted-juicy cherry associated with touches of pulpy blackcurrant, fine hints of toast, caramelization as well as a discreet hint of toasted almond and a very delicate floral/pepper hint in the background. Beautiful tannic charge but all in finesse and accuracy. Lovely delicacy and silky touch. An imperceptible iodized/sappy hint in the background.
