Château Beauregard 2023 – Pomerol

Lovely textured nose, gourmand and which offers softness, depth as well as a certain density. It reveals notes of small pulpy blue fruits, star anise and small notes of roasted-juicy Bigarreau cherry associated with touches of small bright fruits as well as fine hints of lily, racy minerality, a hint of toast and a very discreet hint of graphite. The palate is nicely mineral, fruity, supple, mellow, sapid, gourmand and offers a nice graphite hint, a spherical side as well as a certain density/richness in finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, creamy cherry and small notes of flowers associated with touches of bright violet plum, hints of cornflower, star anise, sweet blond tobacco as well as fine hints of toast, chocolate/tonka bean and a discreet hint of cardamom. Lovely chalky and mellow tannins. Good length. A lovely gourmet wine!
