The nose is elegantly fruity with a nice definition and a nice roasted note with depth and very fine grain. There are notes of bigarreau cherries or even roasted cherries, violet and slight hints of blue berries associated with touches of bright black berries as well as fine hints of tobacco, camphor and a nice warm, racy hints of gravels. The palate is fruity, chiseled with freshness and minerality. Its tangy frame accompanies a nice definition and a beautiful harmony, smoothness, some roundness in freshness and nice energy all in balance and finesse. There are notes of fresh roasted cherries, raspberries and small notes of violet associated with touches of bright blackcurrant as well as a hint of star anise, small fresh blue fruits as well as hints of fresh zan, with a very discreet note of almond and very very discreet touches of cocoa and toast. This wine has a nice tangy structure with supple and sapid tannins which offer some softness.
