The nose offers concentration, a small power, minerality as well as a beautiful grain. It reveals notes of fresh/ripe blackberry, ripe/fresh wild strawberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of cassis, hints of vanilla pod, nutmeg as well as a very discreet hint of Cuben pepper, lilac (in the backgroud) and mocha. The palate is fruity, beautifully fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a good definition, gourmandize, precision, juiciness, a small fleshiness/pulpiness, a beautiful precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/puply blackberry, pulpy/juicy raspberry and small notes of violet associated with small touches of cassis, lilac as well as hints of toasted and very fine hints of carameliation (in the background). Good length. There are fine hints of tonka bean and toasted/caramelized on the persistence.
