The nose is fruity and offers freshness as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of ripe/Fresh cassis, ripe/fresh blackberry and small notes of raspberry associate with fine touches of varietal (iris..) as well as fine hints of liquorice and mild tobacco. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers gourmandize, tension as well as power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, juicy cassis and small notes of juicy raspberry associated with small touches of tonka bean/cocoa as well as discreet hints of caramelization and a very fine hint of expresso (in the background). Tannins are well-built and finely tight. Good length.
