The nose reveals notes of blackberry cream and cassis associated with slight notes of small berries, liquorice and violet / cornflower. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, relatively silky and offers minerality, freshness, juiciness and a good matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, black cherry and plum associated with slight touches of violet, red berries (in the background) as well as a hint of liquorice, chocolate, toasted oak and a discreet hint of Sichuan pepper. Tannins are fine and well built. Good length and aromatic persistence. The finish is suave.
