Château Beau-Site Haut-Vignoble 2019 –

The nose is fruity, racy and offers power. It reveals notes of juicy/ripe cassis, ripe wild strawberry, small notes of violet associated with touches of grey pepper/cuben pepper, small berries as well as hints of racy minerality, spices, incense, toasted/chocolate, an imperceptible hint of ripe almond and grilled (in the background). The palate is fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, juiciness, a ripe/juicy fruit, roudness, fat as well as a fine/very finely tight grain, suavity, a small tension, a fine straightness and a fine gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, juicy/fresh wild raspberry, small notes of small juicy/ripe berries associated with touhes of fresh violet, fresh/ripe blackberry, a racy minerality, toasted, chocolate, graphite as well as discreet hints of cuben pepper (in the background) and ripe almond. Tannins are structuring. Good length.
