The nose is aromatic and a bit closed. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and fine touches of fleshy strawberry combined with discreet touches of wood, licorice and an imperceptible hint of chocolate and pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, silky and offers juiciness, minerality, a fine acid frame, fat, freshness and a good structure. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry and crushed / juicy black cherry combined with fine touches of raspberry, redcurrant and a discreet hint of dark chocolate, coffee and vanilla / toasted oak. Tannins are well-built. Good length and good persistence.
