The nose is aromatic, quite elegant and racy. It reveals notes of cocoa/dark chocolate and red berries associated with hint of blackberry, roasting as well as a discreet hint of Sichuan pepper, spices and toasted hints. The palate is fruity, silky and offers an acid frame, dynamism, freshness, finesse, a nice fat as well as a racy minerality. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of raspberry, cherry and discreet notes of cassis, redcurrant associated with hints of grilled oak, as well as a discreet hint of cocoa. Tannins are supple. Good length and persistence.
