On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, juicy/fresh griots, small notes of bright redcurrant associated with touches of camphor, small black juicy/acidulous berries, dark tea, cornflower, juicy blueberry as well as fine hints of dark chocolate, a discreet hint of caramelization and toasted hazelnut. The tannins are precis, elegant, fresh, and finely creamy. Presence of a discreet hint of bitterness of the cacao in the finish/persistence. good length and a very nice aromatic persistence (and sapidity).
