Château Beau-Séjour Bécot 2019 – Saint Emilion 1er Grand Cru Classé

On the nose is fruity, fresh and offers complexity, depth, a very nice finesse of the grain as well as a certain intensity in finesse. It reveals notes of fresh / bright cassis, wild blackberry and more slightly gray pepper, violet associated with touches of wild raspberry, fresh purple plum as well as hints of graphite, toasted almond and a pinch of fresh cinnamon stick. Presence of a discreet hint of almost fresh citrus in the background. On the palate is fruity, balanced, nicely racy, controlled and offers juiciness, a nice shine as well as a nice pulpy / bright fruit with a little exuberant side of the fruit (but a controlled exuberance). A nice little side stretched in finesse. This wine expresses notes of bright / tangy cassis, redcurrants and more slightly crunchy / fresh raspberry associated with a touch of tangy plum as well as hints of fresh flowers, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of caramelization. Tannins are fine, precise, elegant and very delicate.
