The wine benefits from being decanted. The nose offers a spiciness, a slight airiness in its relative power as well as a very slight floral notes. The palate is mineral, coating balanced and offers freshness, fullness, some fat, precision as well as a certain purity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, fresh juicy/fleshy wood and small notes of chocolate associated with touches of toasted hazelnut, pulpy small fruits as well as a hint of violet, iris and discreet hints of sweet spices. The tannins are chewy. Good length.
