The nose is fresh and offers jammy as well as a fine contained/tight side (currently). The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of pulpy flat peach, pear and small notes of candied kumquat associated with touches of roasted pineapple, candied lemon as well as fine hints of verbena, lime blossom, infusion and spices. The palate is beautifully built and offers fruit, minerality, concentration, a nice freshness, tension, deepness, delicacy, a certain verticality, fat as well as an airy side in its matter. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of candied lemon, candied kumquat and small notes of roasted pineapple associated with touches of candied small fruits as well as a discreet hint of dried apricot, verbena and subtle hints of toasted/spices.
