The nose is fresh and offers minerality and a fine graphite quality. There are notes of wild blackcurrant, pulpy raspberry and, to a lesser extent, wild strawberry, combined with hints of boysenberry and fine graphite, tonka bean and a subtle hint of vanilla. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, minerality, acidity, a certain gourmandise, good definition, fine tension and a certain finesse in its gourmandise. On the palate, this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, crushed blackcurrant and slightly violet notes combined with hints of fleshy cherry, wild strawberry, fine pepper and a discreet touch of graphite and cocoa/mocha. The tannins are precise and finely mellow. Good length.
