Château Barre Gentillot – Révélation 2023 – Graves de Vayres

Lovely fresh nose, chiseled, racy and which offers a certain small intensity, power in accuracy/mastery as well as finesse in its uprightness. We find notes of small blue berries, lily/violet and small notes of small bright red fruits associated with touches of small pulpy/bright blue fruits as well as fine hints of sweet blond tobacco and a subtle hint almost sense of place (local biotope). The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, pulpiness, delicacy, suppleness, roundness, accuracy, depth, complexity as well as a crystalline side/purity of the fruit. Softness in the middle of the palate. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, violet and small notes of bright raspberry associated with touches of small pulpy/bright blue berries, graphite as well as fine hints of sweet blond tobacco and chocolate. A discreet hint of coffee in the background. The finish is mellow. A wine full of suppleness, precision and gourmandise.
