Château Barre Gentillot – Inspiration 2022 – Graves de Vayres

Nice mineral nose, racy, frank and which offers power. It reveals notes of fresh/juicy blackcurrant, violet and small notes of small red berries as well as hints of incense, pepper and a fine hint of smoke. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, freshness, a little spherical side in its fatness, a tangy/fresh frame, precision, straightness as well as mineral tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, small fresh/pulp red berries and small notes of pulpy/fresh cherry associated with touches of cherry blossom, violet as well as hints of nutmeg, camphor and a hint of vanilla. A nice little suave / “sexy” side of Cabernet Franc. Tasty and a little shimmering side on the finish/persistence.
