Château Barrail Saint André 2022 – Saint Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fresh and offers fruit, a slight concentration and a fine velvety touch. It expresses notes of creamy blackberry, small fresh roasted red fruits and more slightly – small dense black fruits, associated with touches of toast, gray pepper as well as hints of vanilla. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, a little freshness, juiciness, accuracy, a mineral framework, energy, good definition. It expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, pulpy/fresh blackcurrant and more slightly – pulpy/fresh raspberry associated with touches of toasted, chocolate as well as subtle hints of fresh sweet spices. Roundness and a certain coating fattiness. The tannins are soft.
