Château Barrail Saint André 2021 – Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity and intense. There are notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry and more slightly violet combined with touches of blue berries, zan, crushed redcurrant and discreet hints of vanilla. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, juiciness, a little pulpiness and volume. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, violet and, more slightly, fleshy redcurrant, combined with touches of bright cherry, lily, as well as fine hints of liquorice, vanilla and a subtle touch of cardamom. The tannins are well managed. The finish is suave.
