Château Barrail Saint André 2018 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is elegant and offers power as well as fine intensity. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry, cassis and small notes of violet, gray pepper associated with small touches of ripe red fruits, fine hints of flowers as well as a very discreet varietal hint and very fine hints of toasted. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, elegant and offers a small juiciness, an acidulous frame as well as gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and small notes of juicy raspberry associated with touches of juicy/fleshy small red berries, fresh flowers/varietal as well as fine hints of chocolate, toasted and liquorice. Tannins are elegant, well-built and precise.
