The nose is fruity, concentrated, fine, incisive and offers power. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis, small fleshy wild fruits associated with small touches of flowers, Sichuan pepper, racy minerality and spices. The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh, well-balanced and offers fleshiness, good definition, fine mineral frame as well as a fine acidity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fresh raspberry, fresh fleshy berries and more slightly flowers associated with touches of liquorice, toasted and a more discreet hint of chocolate (in the background). Tannins are fine, slightly tight and a bit dry. Good length.
