Château Barrabaque – Cuvée Prestige 2021 – Canon-Fronsac

The nose is spicy. There are notes of ripe wild blackberry, ripe cherry and small notes of spices associated with touches of clove as well as slight hints of blonde tabaco and a very discreet vanilla. The mouth is juicy, discreetly tight and offers a juicy/ pulpy fruit, an acidulous frame, minerality as well as a certain gourmandise. Fleshy/ pulpy attack. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/ pulpy raspberry, pulpy/ fleshy cherry and small notes of fleshy/ juicy blackberry associated with touches of blueberry as well as toasted hints, taosted almond hints, chocolate and a discreet hint of clove, slight hints of racy minerality and an imperceptible hint of sage. Sapid and gourmands tannins.
