A lovely, mellow, finely spicy and discreetly saline nose, with a textured side. It expresses notes of creamy blackberry, creamy blackcurrant and more slightly – small bright blue fruits, associated with touches of star anise, iodine as well as fine hints of racy minerality, fresh cubeb pepper, a subtle floral hint and an imperceptible hint of fresh spices. The palate is beautifully mellow, fresh, mineral, juicy, and offers sapidity, accuracy, tension. It expresses notes of creamy blackberry, creamy blackcurrant and more slightly – fleshy wild strawberry, associated with a touch of crushed redcurrants as well as hints of cornflower, star anise, chocolate, as well as a subtle hint of toast, toasted hazelnut, delicacy. The tannins are mellow and savoury.
