The nose is fruity, fresh, quite aromatic. It reveals notes of fresh/crunchy strawberry, crushed blackberryand small notes of griotte cherry associated with touches of crushed redcurrant as well as hints of liquorice, lilac and a subtle hint of mild tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers suavity, gourmandize, juiciness as well as an acidulous frame and a small tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, fresh/crunchy strawberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of violet plum as well as hints of nutmeg, lilac/iris as well as a subtle hint of raspberry leaf, a very discreet hint of almond and toasted. Tannins are well-built. A subtle hint of chocolate on the persistence.
