The palate is fruity and offers a nice freshness, minerality / a mineral structure, a little acidity, a little roundness, a fine palatability as well as a little controlled richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, pulpy cassis and more slightly fleshy / fresh raspberry associated with touches of lily, fresh small fruits, hints of toasted hazelnut, almond as well as fine hints of cocoa with a subtle hint of vanilla and a very discreet hint of pepper. Good length. Presence of a small chewiness on the finish / persistence.
