It reveals notes of crushed wild cassis, blackberry and wild strawberry associated with fine touches of fresh blueberry, vanilla, liquorice as well as fine touches of sweet spices and a discreet hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers a beautiful definition, minerality, tension as well as a fine unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and more slightly blueberry associated with touches of crushed strawberry, subtle touches of vanilla, caramelization, fresh flowers (lily, rose), a hint of Sichuan pepper as well as fine touches of tonka bean/cocoa and coffee (in the background). Tannins are fine and slightly dry.
