The nose is fruity, full, racy and aromatic. It reveals notes of cassis, boysenberry and spices associated with discreet notes of plum, raspberry, green pepper (discreet), oak and rosewood. The palate is fruity, gourmande, silky, suave, full, nicely depth and offers a good volume, freshness, fat, a good definition and a small acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry jam, fresh plum and fine notes of raspberry associated with discreet hints of cherry, cassis as well as slight notes of toasted oak and a discreet note of dark chocolate. Tannins are fine, well-built and (very) slightly firm. Good length and good persistence. The finish is nicely suave.
