The nose offers tension, juicy and tangy fruits (blackcurrant, morello cherry, blueberry, red cherry), as well as a slight fermentative hint. Spicy and woody notes appear after aeration (liquorice, heated wood, toasted hazelnut, a touch of vanilla). We also find violet, peony, a hint of mint and wild rose in the background. The palate expresses notes of morello cherry, blackcurrant, red cherry, liquorice and peony, as well as a hint of menthol. The finish expresses well-structured tannins, a little tight, but balanced by a salivating acidity. Freshness, energy and tension. A balanced and airy wine.
