Château Arnauld 2019 – Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel

The nose is elegant, fruity and offers creaminess, freshness and fine complexity. There are notes of creamy blackberry and slightly crushed redcurrant combined with hints of black cherry, violet, liquorice and fine blue berry, bergamot and a subtle hint of sweet spice. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, good definition, a certain gourmandise, harmony, acidity and a tangy structure. On the palate this wine expresses crunchy black cherry, crunchy blackcurrant and slightly juicy/acidic wild strawberry with hints of jammy currant, blueberry, liquorice, bourbon vanilla and a subtle hint of bergamot, sweet spice and nutmeg. The tannins are well-managed. Good length.
