The nose is gourmand and offers a small richness, a fine/finely tight grain as well as harmony and a small power. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, crushed blackberry, small notes of strawberry associated with touches of small crushed red berries, hints of cornflower, a racy minerality, liquorice as well as a hint of graphite and cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine grain, a small tension, a good definition and suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, crushed Boysen berry, small notes of juicy/finely acidulous raspberry associated with touches of small pulpy/juicy red berries as well as hints of violet, zan, tea and a subtle hint of nutmeg. Tannins are well-built, elegant and very discreetly tight.
